What You Need To Know
I work collaboratively with my patients/clients to help them live their life to it's fullest. I integrate skilled physical evaluation techniques, thorough history taking and a whole-body approach to finding solutions to people's limitations in movement and function that are holding them back from being the best version of themselves that they want to be.
I then develop a treatment plan with them which includes hands-on treatment and empowering activities to help change movement behaviours, improve their function, strength, mobility, and performance and reduce discomfort, pain and dysfunction.
I collaborate with other professionals to get the best long-term results for my clients and patients, which sometimes includes dentists, optometrists, other medical practitioners, counselors, bodyworkers and/or nutritional specialists. Whatever it takes to help you reach your goals and be your best.
My Approach
My approach is unique and integrates all of my extensive training, looking at the body as a whole rather than just the area that is painfully speaking the loudest to you. In my experience, often the area of the body that is painful or symptomatic is not the source of the problem.
Typically the symptomatic area is the area that has taken the brunt of mechanical or physiological dysfunctions, whereas other areas can be the cause. This is often the reason why people at times don't respond successfully to other treatments, as the treatment did not fully address the source.
